Come make a Peace Flag and be part of the biggest interactive Peace Flag installation ever!!!!! We were inspired on a trip to Burma, a country ruled by an intolerant regime, to create an artistic, interactive installation called "Peace on Earth, Peace by Piece".
We will re-install some of the existing flags from the last installation in order to inspire the people of Grand Rapids to participate and make their own Peace Flags so they can become part of this traveling exhibit.
We will string lines and lights to accommodate the growing number of flags as we encourage the public to participate for the duration of ArtPrize. Folks can simply meander through and enjoy the visuals or create their own and become part. We hope teachers, civic groups, Girl Scout and Boy Scout troops as well as other groups will either make their own flag beforehand or join us in the FUN at the B.O.B. building.
